ACT / SAT Test Prep Instructor

We are looking for an ACT/SAT Test Prep to prepare students for standardized testing.

What you would do each day:

  • Teach!

  • Collaborate with the Director of Test Prep in order to generate and execute specific plans for each student. All of our work is customized and tailored to the individual student.

  • Assist the Director with the development of Test Prep curriculum and other special projects

  • Attend client-specific case review meetings and convey feedback from sessions to the Director of Test Prep while maintaining confidentiality and security of client information

  • Interact with other departments in the organization, such as the Educational Therapy Department, to ensure coordinated service provision

  • Work 12:30pm to 9pm Monday through Thursday, and 11am to 7:30pm on Sundays

The individuals who we typically hire for this role:

  • Have tutoring experience or an interest in pursuing a career in the field of education

  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, show attention to detail, and exhibit the drive help students succeed

  • Enjoy building relationships with students and respond to the needs of teenagers in a fast-paced environment


Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Reliable transportation

Education

  • Undergraduate degree transcript that demonstrates mastery within your field of study

Reporting

  • Reports to the Director of Test Prep

Salary

  • Based on experience
